I have the full set..These dry out after a while and I would not recommend them. Not worth the money and I'd stick with posca.

It seems I actually REMEMBER more when I journal later. It makes for a more personal journal instead of a cold: -I woke up -I ate -I went here -I did that.

I literally went a whole year without touching my very first twsbi eco because it was a fine nib and I like medium nibs but it wrote beautifully when I picked it back up

That really sucks about the planner issues & their response. :/ they should have immediately notified everyone via email and asked if you wanted a partial refund of a lot more than that!!! Also, I am using a Hobonichi Cousin Hon this year! Very excited to try it again.

Story centred journals are very interesting! I made one about t haunted house in the city where I live. It was fun putting together all the bits and photos that I used to make the journal. Like you I would love to keep it, but I intend on selling it. You probably sold that journal long ago, as it is 2024, now, so I hope it went to a good home! Great video, Leanne! I’m in total planner chaos right now, I can’t even settle on one for 24 hours, let alone 2024. I like your self made one, very different look but reminds me of the PaperTess Designs B6 planner layout (although that has a Hobonichi weeks type week layout). Your planner for 2024 is beautiful. Although I am the least picky person of all time, but I would be quite annoyed/upset at having paid so much for a beautiful planner and find the makers basically covered up their huge error at getting the draft printed by mistake and not owning up to it. They might save money this year, but are guaranteeing way fewer customers for 2025. I’m sure you’ll make it work, tho! Thanks for the video.

I’m currently in a planner/ journal crisis. I think it’s cause I’ve added several new projects in my life and now I feel a bit underprepared. My current planner/journaling is a bullet journal but I feel I’m adding so much that it’s no longer helping but hindering. Trying to decide how much I need as planner vs journaling and what systems would work for that. 🤫

I'm currently doing my backlog....both planner and journal/documenting.... We are just human that we often feels organized clutter. Both inside and out. We are constantly moving..changing evolving and moving on. we are in this bubble that is constantly changes. Our state of mind is not idle... Doing journal should NOT be a pressure...It is not a task, that you need to do to be able breath or to live. It should be fun. It should bring joy. Joy to your heart and soul. It should not be complicate. And should Not be, just for the sake of doing it...All i can say, your videos help me alot. Your thoughts and ideas is the one i truly embrace. The way you do your journals makes sense to me. It speaks to me loud and clear. I understand the process, i understand how it should be. I was able to pinpoint and makes changes to the way i journal. Less complicated, simple. It is the what and how and why and when i wanted to do my journal. It is my journal. Thank you so much. I really really appreciate it. The journey is long and hard....but it is worth it. Take Care.

Love this. Yes please to sharing the journal prompts you have used that have helped you. Yes I know there’s loads out there, but I love your style and honesty so I would love to explore how they could help me too. Love your thoughts about seasonal changes and how they are affecting you. I have noticed this too as I have got older, it amazes me how much of a mirror it is becoming the more I go with the flow. Please keep sharing your thoughts, not everyone is as honest as you and there needs to be more honesty in this world. 😊

😎 always watch till the end 😎 My journaling has changed significantly this year. I am sticking little photos in my weeks and writing just a line or two. Enough for a memory jog. My blank book has become a place for my bigger, more complicated thoughts and emotions, plus intuitive art, organic zentangles, and random bits of ephemera.

I love Liquitex inks but they WILL separate if you store them for a long time. At least mine did! Shaking them up thoroughly can be a pain but the inks work fine afterwards. I found that stirring them up with a straightened out paperclip jumpstarted the process of remixing. They are well worth buying even with the extra effort. I'm thinking about adding stainless steel mixing balls to mine but haven't done it yet...

great info here! fun to see what you saved VS what i would have saved! I like to create pages where i tell a whole story . So i have sorted my harvested images into food/archetecture/florals/animals/people/interesting things/color-pattern swatches. oh and of course words which I have not used any of in this particular journal! LOL Im using flat 12 x 9 baskets from the dollar store, they stack but alas they are overflowing. Unfortunately its getting harder and harder to find old magazines!
